The chakra wall hanging chime was designed for you to gaze at during your yoga practice. The intent is to be mindful and bring awareness to your chakra energy centers. From the root chakra to the crown of the head, the yoga chakra charms will add a sense of harmony and balance to yourself and your environment.

Gazing at the symbols and colors will heighten your sense of confidence, inspiration and identity while you practice your chakra yoga poses. The aesthetic is ethereal, making the ancient yoga symbols more contemporary.

We crafted these designs in our NYC studio pairing brass symbols with quartz stones to enhance your color visualization with a lovely palette. Each chime comes with an instructional postcard with information on how to practice the chanting and color visualization from the ancient traditions of chakra and yoga practice.

Chakra system and meaning

First Chakra - Root Chakra - Color Red: This chakra's role is to connect all your energy with the Earth, being grounded. Starts at the base of your spine.

Second Chakra - Sacral Chakra - Color Orange: Associates feeling and experiencing pleasure and pain. Located right below the belly button.

Third Chakra - Solar Plexus - Color Yellow: This chakra is where your self-confidence, identity and happiness reside. Located in the center of the belly button.

Fourth Chakra - Heart Chakra - Color Green:  As it relates to unconditional love for others and for self, trust, compassion & understanding. Located in your heart center.

Fifth Chakra - Throat Chakra - Color Blue: This chakra provides energy the energy for you to speak and is associated with self-expression. Located right between the collar bone.

Sixth Chakra - The third eye Chakra - Color Indigo: Opens up the mind to information beyond the material world, for psychic and telepathic abilities for mind control. Located right between the eyebrows.

Seventh Chakra - Crown chakra - Color White/Purple: As its name states, it is located at the top of your head and provides enlightenment and higher energy connection.

We added gorgeous golden brass jewelry like caps to make them more beautiful, as well as rose quartz crystals to provide the frequency of love and peace. These work well to hold up to your ears and tune in, or to use to target acupressure points on your body and work on targeted sound healing that you can feel pulsating. 

The Otto tuners are used for relaxation, the sound vibrates into the bones for relaxation. The Otto Tuners are tuned to the frequencies of 128cps and. They vibrate at a low pitch and due to their weighted ends, the sound lasts longer than that of regular tuning forks. Their frequencies are based on an 8 cps fundamental tone raised in octaves (i.e. 8 cps, 16 cps, 32 cps, 64 cps, 128 cps.) The 8 cps fundamental, which based on the pulsation of the planet earth, is the generating tone for all our tuning forks. Two Otto Tuners tapped gently on the knees and held to the ears create a beautiful sustained low tone. It is excellent for grounding and relaxation controlling the balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system.

Instructions:

For using the Otto Tuners with bones and ligament, hold the forks by the stem and gently tap them on your knee. With the finger or thumb of your free hand locate the spot on the body where you want to place the tuning fork. Press the end of the stem of the tuning fork onto the spot. Make a firm contact and hold the tuning fork until you feel the vibrations stop.

For listening, hold the Otto Tuners by their stem and gently tap the weights on your knees or palm of your hands. Bring the tuning fork(s) to your ears and adjust the distance by tone. Hold one fork about an inch from your left ear and one an inch from to the right ear. This creates a long sustained pitch. 

The C Fork – “128hz”
