Our Global Awakening: Building a World of Love

THE CLOSING OF 2020

Wow, we have all had quite a year. We have had and are having a huge awakening. I would say that this awakening began with the election of President Trump, as he was the catalyst for this awakening over the past four years. How?He tried to shatter every norm that was in our belief system. We saw what it looked like to have power become your only motive, which followed by greed and money. We saw his disrespect of human life and the planet we live on. The cause in my opinion- the need to be recognized and loved, which he never got from his family. It appeared to be that they only recognized him through winning at any cost. Compassion and kindness were never part of the vocabulary. His Malady caused all of us to wake up in one way or another.  It made us examine:   1. Love vs. Hate 2. A real look at inequality, justice, and racism. 3. Lies vs. Truth. 4. Our Relationship with Money. 5. Our virtues and values - Compassion, Honor, Equality, Loyalty and Respect.  6. Spiritually we were made aware of and asked to examine is my outside world in alignment with my inside world?  7. How do we want to live our lives, life is short. 8. Our Environment – Our relationship with our earth and how we care for it and everything living on it.  9. Our FREEDOM – I never in my wildest dreams thought I would awaken to face that our democracy was in jeopardy. How fragile it really is, and that we needed to fight for it. I myself didn’t realize that I took it for granite. I thought it was a given and we would always have it. I have put on a new set of glasses. It gave us a glimpse of what other non-free societies around the world feel like and go through. Freedom is the most powerful thing. A deep thing to look at and what must be achieved for all.   We got a history lesson in how democracy works in a big way! We now know more of how our system operates and we have seen first hand ways it has been manipulated for personal gain for the few. We realize that we must pay attention and create the democracy we all want to live in. We all have to be active and take part in maintaining our country and letting go and recreating what reflects our true values. We all are responsible.  The Pandemic:  Another huge wake up call. Who would have thought that we would in this day and age have a virus that is as bad as the Spanish Flu over a hundred years ago. Also affecting us globally. Losing family members out of nowhere and so quickly. Losing jobs and our places to live with very little governmental help. The help has come from the strength and compassion of the people. We have seen and felt the pain of all countries. It has brought the realization that we are truly a global family and we must take care of each other.  The whole world is sick and tired of being sick and tired. It is time to create a global society that respects and represents everybody. We don’t have time for judgments and separatism. It is time to be an inclusive world and not exclusive. We all have something to contribute. This year has shown us that our old world is falling apart and a new one is beginning. This is a good thing. It is up to each of us to do our part in creating this new world. There is no effort to small or to big. We are all called upon to visualize, and create what we want our world to look like together. There is no better than the holidays and new year to reflect and get started on this.   ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE  John Lennon

What is Spirituality?

What is Spirituality?

Spirituality is choosing to connect yourself with your understanding of God or universal source. It is not known by one name but is open to your own interpretation and ones comfort zone. It is not a religion, it is you discovering the sacred part of you that is connected to the bigger picture. We all are a part of Source. There is no separation in the spiritual world. All is one and the same within itself. No one is more special than the other. Spirituality is an ongoing journey. Just when you think you’ve got it, there is more to the story. This is what keeps it interesting! Spirituality is being open to sense, feel and learn though your own exploration and discovery. This journey begins with learning to be still and quiet. Within this quiet, you come into a space where you find your inner knowing. This inner knowing is called your higher self. This higher self is the connection to all spiritual knowledge and universal truths. It is intuitive based. It’s what feels right for you. It comes from within, not from without. Spirituality does not confine you to one belief system; it is open to all. It leaves you to form your own truths as you go through your own journey of discovery.Your Spirituality is a personal relationship between you and your God of understanding or Universal Source of Energy, however you choose to relate. We all have a connection to spirit. It is part of our inner self. Everyone gets a different answer that relates best to them. Knowing all roads lead back home to the universal source of all consciousness. It’s up to you as to how you chose to get there. Spirituality is always love based. Spirituality unites, it does not divide. Spirituality is compassionate to all.   How do we begin this journey? Through learning to be still. To be able to sit in silence so you can connect to the universal source through prayer and meditation. This connection will guide you to your deepest truth. The more you practice, the more clarity you will get. This is where you will find the true meaning of love, grace, compassion, humility, gratitude, and more. You will be at peace with yourself, which gives you tremendous freedom!

Navigating The Dark Night Of The Soul & Global Awakening

The Dark Night Of The Soul

This month has been overwhelming and draining to say the least. I started to feel a sadness that I couldn’t put my finger on. I  then realized that I was experiencing a great loss, a mourning of what I once knew the world to be. I  realized I was experiencing the Dark Night Of The Soul again, but this time it was a total clearing of all that was left of my stuff and at the same time experiencing all that needs to be transformed on a global level if we are to survive.   I would say we are all in some way individually and collectively going through this sadness and loss. We are collectively experiencing the process of The Dark Night Of The Soul.  I call part of this process a stripping. A lot of people, places and things are being removed from our lives that are not serving the greater good of our personal development and our collective progress. What ever stands in the way of our growth and true calling. A cleansing is happening so a new way of life and understanding can take place. It’s a death of sorts of all things we knew as real.  Our ideas and frame work that we have been used to live by are  crumbling right before our eyes. This is a necessary process for our global family so that we may rebirth a new human society.  This process can be very painful. I have gone through this before but when you get to the other side of it you are truly transformed.   In order to get to the other side we must clear all of our stuff.  It is also a global clearing and an awakening.  We are being moved to the next stages of our souls growth individually and collectively. This is by far the biggest change that humanity has ever had to go through. So how does one get through this?   1. First of all BREATHE and practice the OM Sound.   This helps with Anxiety.   2. Practice meditation and prayer We must stay connected to God, Spirit, Universal Power, what ever you relate to. Through this you will gain nourishment, love and strength. (If you resist meditation at least take time to be totally quiet. Walk in nature). 3. Ebb and Flow Move with it like a river - don’t resist and fight it. It will only make it harder. 4. Practice detachment with love. This  was a big struggle for me for awhile. I was like how do you not be involved? You become the watcher the observer. Like watching a movie. You watch it but you are not in it. Be in the world not of the world. The watcher becomes the witness. Let the outcome come to you don’t create it. The universe will show us, then an aw-ha happens. When we participate in the drama we get emotional and try to control things to our point of view. This resistance doesn’t work.  One has to let go of any and all attachments that one might have that hold each of us back. We need to be able to see and understand who we truly are as a person and as a people.  5. Let Go let God!   We can’t control it. Spirit will guide us. We are to look at what we are being shown, recognize it and move through it. Be the watcher and know that spirit will handle it.  We have to have TRUST and FAITH.  So for now let’s close our eyes and visualize that we are sitting on a green lush mountain with a stream of fresh water running by us with beautiful color flowers bending with the wind. This picture is guiding us, telling us to let the energy move through. Stay in the presence of God, knowing that in oneness we can and will get through this. Come back to this visualization as needed.  XOXO Jodi  Stay Tuned: Look out for our Foundations 21 day challenge this will come soon. It will help you thru these feelings and experience too.

Inner Sanctuary: Affirmations for Daily Living

Inner Sanctuary: Affirmations for Daily Living

Today - I will be the flower in the garden and will nurture it with great care, so I can grow. I will steer away from the weeds that try and inhibit me. I will live my personal truth with courage and integrity at all times. Today I will use my intuition remembering that it was given to me by my creator to guide me.I will remember through surrender I will find humility I will find grace. I will remember on a daily basis that I always have a choice. That Happiness is an inside job; I can choose whatever state I wish to be in. I will remember that The Magic Comes when one decides to take the leap of Faith. Today I will see things through the eyes of Love. I will be the listener today and come from a heart of compassion. I will move through my day today with grace and Ease. I will remind myself on a daily basis that I am worthy of all things. Nobody can take my Wirth from me unless I allow it. I will look for what I can contribute today instead of what I might receive. I will take a moment to pause and observe the beautiful world around me. I will do my part to preserve it. I will remember sometimes- Less is more. I will practice letting go of others comments or judgements and will not allow them to rent space in my head. I will choose my thoughts and words with great care, as I am the creator of my own reality. I will remember - If it doesn’t flow - It doesn’t go.I won’t try and make it fit. I will remember life is a gift - use it wisely. Most of all I Am Grateful for every waking moment! I will remember to always carry this in my heart.
