Getting started on your Spiritual Journey
To begin your spiritual journey: Clarify how you relate to God or Universal Source of all things? Whatever name you chose to use. What religious training were you taught and what do you believe now? Do you trust with all your heart this Universal Source? Have the ability to sit quietly with a willingness to be open to feeling and listening to your inner thoughts. Trust your inner voice and intuition – It’s a feeling and a knowing. Our Connection to God or Universal Source. Close your eyes be quiet and listen to what sounds are around you. This helps you to go deeper than surface thoughts Practice Seeing Example: When you take a walk in nature you see a broad vision of things trees, plants, animals but do you ever look closer at what is really going on? Look at a flower and see all of it’s elements, it’s essence and beauty. Pay attention there is always more to the story. They are usually a-ha moments if you are truly looking. Open your mind to all possibilities. Open your mind to all possibilities. Release all judgements- What is the judgement saying to you about your inner being? Do we need to self-correct? Practice stillness and living in the now 🔑 Have the desire to feel and be your authentic self. Practice- Giving your full attention to listening to others Ask for guidance when needed Remember: When the student is ready the teacher appears. Life is a journey not a destination. It ebbs and flows -always moving so remember to move with it. XOXOJODI
We Have Begun the 4th Dimension
Hi Everyone, Sorry it took so long to start this blog. These past few months have been about assimilating and moving through what we have all experienced these past 4 years and the Corona Virus which woke up the world. So much change has occurred I don’t feel we have quite recovered yet or found our footing as to our place in the world. A lot of questions for each and everyone of us. What is important to us, how we treat ourselves and other people and how we value life. It has been a soul searching and gut-wrenching experience. It is important to breathe, meditate, do sound work and nurture your body, mind and soul. Without recharging we will feel depleted, so please rest as much as you can. We are at a place where we have to get things right now, so we need to be well rested and as centered as possible. Most of us just want to live in peace and have a fair and equitable life. To live in a society that comes from love and helping others where needed. We want our families to be safe and our children to have clean air and water. It is amazing to me that after how much we all worked to maintain our democracy that we have to still fight for it, or we won’t have one. We have to remain pro-active and work for what we want our society to look like. We are at ground zero, we have to create that which we want to see together. This has begun the time of We not I. The 4th dimension is the building of our foundation. Let’s take the time to listen to one another so we can be an inclusive society. Here is a paragraph out of my book, The Call Of The Day- I feel this is a good place to share this. “The fourth dimension is about learning to love oneself, so that we may truly be able to love one another. It is about true forgiveness, letting go of judgement while learning to trust oneself and the universe. It is where you start to establish your relationship with Universe or God, which ever name you choose to use. You will learn that all living things are connected and are of equal value. No one is more special or deserving than another. We Are All One. Anger, hatred and separation will no longer exist. This is an individual process as well as a societal and global process. Once we have embraced and established these principles, we will be able to start accessing the Fifth and higher dimensions.” I do believe we are at the beginning of this so hang tight! Much love,Jodi
THE CLOSING OF 2020
Wow, we have all had quite a year. We have had and are having a huge awakening. I would say that this awakening began with the election of President Trump, as he was the catalyst for this awakening over the past four years. How?He tried to shatter every norm that was in our belief system. We saw what it looked like to have power become your only motive, which followed by greed and money. We saw his disrespect of human life and the planet we live on. The cause in my opinion- the need to be recognized and loved, which he never got from his family. It appeared to be that they only recognized him through winning at any cost. Compassion and kindness were never part of the vocabulary. His Malady caused all of us to wake up in one way or another. It made us examine: 1. Love vs. Hate 2. A real look at inequality, justice, and racism. 3. Lies vs. Truth. 4. Our Relationship with Money. 5. Our virtues and values - Compassion, Honor, Equality, Loyalty and Respect. 6. Spiritually we were made aware of and asked to examine is my outside world in alignment with my inside world? 7. How do we want to live our lives, life is short. 8. Our Environment – Our relationship with our earth and how we care for it and everything living on it. 9. Our FREEDOM – I never in my wildest dreams thought I would awaken to face that our democracy was in jeopardy. How fragile it really is, and that we needed to fight for it. I myself didn’t realize that I took it for granite. I thought it was a given and we would always have it. I have put on a new set of glasses. It gave us a glimpse of what other non-free societies around the world feel like and go through. Freedom is the most powerful thing. A deep thing to look at and what must be achieved for all. We got a history lesson in how democracy works in a big way! We now know more of how our system operates and we have seen first hand ways it has been manipulated for personal gain for the few. We realize that we must pay attention and create the democracy we all want to live in. We all have to be active and take part in maintaining our country and letting go and recreating what reflects our true values. We all are responsible. The Pandemic: Another huge wake up call. Who would have thought that we would in this day and age have a virus that is as bad as the Spanish Flu over a hundred years ago. Also affecting us globally. Losing family members out of nowhere and so quickly. Losing jobs and our places to live with very little governmental help. The help has come from the strength and compassion of the people. We have seen and felt the pain of all countries. It has brought the realization that we are truly a global family and we must take care of each other. The whole world is sick and tired of being sick and tired. It is time to create a global society that respects and represents everybody. We don’t have time for judgments and separatism. It is time to be an inclusive world and not exclusive. We all have something to contribute. This year has shown us that our old world is falling apart and a new one is beginning. This is a good thing. It is up to each of us to do our part in creating this new world. There is no effort to small or to big. We are all called upon to visualize, and create what we want our world to look like together. There is no better than the holidays and new year to reflect and get started on this. What is Spirituality?
Spirituality is choosing to connect yourself with your understanding of God or universal source. It is not known by one name but is open to your own interpretation and ones comfort zone. It is not a religion, it is you discovering the sacred part of you that is connected to the bigger picture. We all are a part of Source. There is no separation in the spiritual world. All is one and the same within itself. No one is more special than the other. Spirituality is an ongoing journey. Just when you think you’ve got it, there is more to the story. This is what keeps it interesting! Spirituality is being open to sense, feel and learn though your own exploration and discovery. This journey begins with learning to be still and quiet. Within this quiet, you come into a space where you find your inner knowing. This inner knowing is called your higher self. This higher self is the connection to all spiritual knowledge and universal truths. It is intuitive based. It’s what feels right for you. It comes from within, not from without. Spirituality does not confine you to one belief system; it is open to all. It leaves you to form your own truths as you go through your own journey of discovery.Your Spirituality is a personal relationship between you and your God of understanding or Universal Source of Energy, however you choose to relate. We all have a connection to spirit. It is part of our inner self. Everyone gets a different answer that relates best to them. Knowing all roads lead back home to the universal source of all consciousness. It’s up to you as to how you chose to get there. Spirituality is always love based. Spirituality unites, it does not divide. Spirituality is compassionate to all. How do we begin this journey? Through learning to be still. To be able to sit in silence so you can connect to the universal source through prayer and meditation. This connection will guide you to your deepest truth. The more you practice, the more clarity you will get. This is where you will find the true meaning of love, grace, compassion, humility, gratitude, and more. You will be at peace with yourself, which gives you tremendous freedom!
